The Problem Fixers

Website expired, and the domain only shows a placeholder

Kelsey, in Harrison, Ohio, sells on Etsy and finds her customers on TikTok. Her website had lapsed, and her own domain showed nothing but a placeholder.

What was stuck

Her old site, which had held her store, expired and took the store with it. The domain was still hers, but it showed only a free placeholder page, and the login for the account that held it was lost. Her TikTok bio sent people to a page of links instead of a site of her own.

She figured a real website was too expensive, so she never asked anyone about it.

What we did

We built her a new site made for the phone, since that is where her customers find her, with her newest Etsy listings showing up on it by themselves.

The lost login held up the domain for a while. Rather than handing over a password, she gave delegate access to the domain from her side, and it was pointed at the new site.

How it ended

Her own domain opens the new site now, securely, with her latest listings on the page, and the domain renews on its own. In her words:

“They went above and beyond my expectations and I am obsessed with my new website!”Kelsey, Harrison, Ohio
